Field measurement of arsenic with Arsenomat |

Many underground and surface waters all over the world are contaminated by arsenic. ISTRAN’s portable arsenic analyser Arsenomat®
makes field determination of As down to 1 ug/l easy and safe.
Just add
a diluted hydrochloric acid reagent solution to the sample, inject the
resulting solution to the analyser and measure. In less than 3 minutes
the result is displayed and stored in the memory for later use. Total
arsenic or As(III) can be measured in the same solution. No toxic gases
are formed. The concentration range is 5 to 250 ug/l. Obviously, higher
concentrations can be measured after a proper dilution of the sample
with water.
