Mercury monitoring in a mercury reduction plant |

Some waste waters may contain mercury species and their concentration must be controlled. ISTRAN has developed an on-line mercury monitoring analyser which enables a simple, fast and unattended measurement of mercury species in waste waters down to 0.1 ug/l concentrations.
The system is operating in a chemical plant over 8 years and is still providing reliable data about mercury content in waste waters originating in a chlor-alkali plant, PVC production and other chemical productions. A single measurement is completed within 5 minutes. Obviously, automatic calibration, data logging, analog data transfer and alarm signals are available. |
