Iodide in urine |
|
|
Low concentrations of iodides can be measured in urine samples by EcaFlow . The sample is diluted with dilute nitric acid and analysed by making use of a special silver-based electrode. The duration of a measurement is about 5 min and concentrations down to 50 ug/l iodide in urine can be measured. A dilute nitric acid and an iodide calibration solution are used only. The application has been tested in a clinical laboratory with results correspondig well with expected data. |
