The process analyzer EcaMon TE10 was successfully tested for unattended monitoring of chlorite contents in disinfected water in Brescia, Italy.
The results has confirmed the excellent sensitivity and selectivity of the method in a broad concentration range (0.01 to several mg/l chlorite), long-term stability and virtually maintenance-free operation. The running costs for one year operation including thousands of measurements are below 500 €, whereas no organic reagents just a diluted hydrochloric acid reagent solution with minimal consumption is used. Obviously, automatic calibration, alarm signal, analog signal output and interface to a PC for data download are included. Bromate and chlorite on-line instruments during testing in Brescia, Italy |
