Cadmium, lead and copper can be determined simultaneously in concentrated zinc solutions by EcaFlow. On diluting the sample with water the metals are measured by making use of stripping chronopotentiometry.
The technique of additions is used for calibration which minimises
matrix interferences. Metal concentrations down to 10 ug/L can be
measured in concentrated zinc sulphate solutions containg up to 150 g/L
