Ascorbic acid in food and beverages. No problem for C-Vit Print E-mail
C vitamine (ascorbic acid) is regarded as an extremely important component of human feeding. ISTRAN's portable instrument, C-Vit enables a straightforward, fast and reliable measurement of ascorbic acid virtually in all kinds of foods, food additives and beverages such as fruits, vegetables, milk powders, "energy" drinks, etc. Mix the sample with the electrolyte, filter if there are larger particles and inject . In 2-3 minutes you get the result, and that an accurate one, corresponding well with official methods ! There is one reagent employed only (dilute sodium chloride in water), and of course, an ascorbic acid calibration solution to check occasionally the instrument.



The concentration range depends on the sample dilution degree, one to several hundreds of mg/l ascorbic acid concentrations can be measured in the prepared sample solution. The analyser is delivered in a robust case making field applications easy.
