Trace arsenic and mercury can be measured in a single run on EcaFlow.
Total arsenic and mercury is measured on adding permanganate to the
sample solution to convert all forms of As to As(V). Without the
addition of permanganate, As(III) and Hg can also be measured
facilitating a simple speciation of arsenic.
Virtually
all kinds of water can be analysed by the procedure and the method can
also be adopted for on-line monitoring of waste waters.
