A simple method was developed for ethanol determination in beverages
such as wines, beers, distillates. Even the residual alcohol content in
vinigar can be measured by the laboratory analyser EcaFlow .
The method utilises a new electrode developed by ISTRAN, oxidising
selectively ethanol. The sample preparation is simple: the beverage is
diluted with dilute sulphuric acid and measured.
