Nickel, copper, lead, tin in waste water Print E-mail
Industrial waste water can be monitored for heavy metals by EcaMon TE10 .

Waste waters from machinery and galvanisers frequently contain significant concetrations of Ni, Cu, Pb, Sn, and some other heavy metals. Such concentrations can easily be measured by systems developed by ISTRAN, and it is even possible to monitor them on-line.

The EcaMon TE10/2ch process analyzer contains two independent measuring units, each measuring a selected metal. Hence, two such systems can monitor the above four metals, one Ni and Cu, the other Sn and Pb. Two and two reagents solutions (consisting of diluted acid, salt and hydroxide) are only employed, with consumptions of few ml/measurement.

The default concentration ranges are as follows:
Ni       0.1 - 5 mg/l
Cu      0.05 - 1 mg/l
Sn      0.2 - 2.5 mg/l
Pb      0.5 - 15 mg/l

Each measuring unit  has its own pace (pauses between measurements 1 min up to 1 hour),  automatic calibration, data logging, analog (4-20 mA)  signal output,  potential-free alarm output. Data can easily be dowloaded to a PC through the built-in serial communication port. Program upgrade is possible by making use of a simple  software.

The standard enclosure is of IP54 protection, IP55 or higher is available on request.

All consumables (reagents, calibration solutions, electrodes, tubings) are delivered by ISTRAN.
